Have a question to ask?
Get the Ask Parliament app, create your profile, and publish your question directed to an MP, or ask for it to be raised in parliament. If there is a question already published that is important to you, UP-VOTE it! This will raise its visibility to MP’s and increase the likelihood of a reply or action in parliament.
MP engagement
Engaged MP’s can respond to your concerns or raise questions you ask in parliament. Ask Parliament also shows MP’s which questions are being up-voted within the community. It’s a source of questions they may not have thought of and highlights issues in the community they may not have been aware so many people cared about.

Issues in my electorate
MP's and constituents can get a picture of what’s important in their electorate. Up-voted questions get noticed with the app providing the number of up-votes and the fraction of up-votes compared with down-votes. Other question that receive 100% up-votes might deserve attention even if the total was small. MP's can answer questions in-app or raise them parliament, or they can raise questions in-app for user feedback.
Questions for journalists
Journalists’ research for an interview or a press conference can be enhanced with a quick search. Search for a politician, or a specific topic, to find the community’s most popular questions. This can help uncover hidden issues, help refine good questions to pose to politicians, and which topics are resonating the most with the community.
Community influencers
People with important lived experience of a particular issue don’t necessarily need to organise in advance or attend a protest to make an impact. You can easily publish a relevant question, and others with similar experiences can amplify it by up-voting. The more good questions you publish and are up-voted by the Ask Parliament community, the greater your influence in making an impact in areas that are important to you. Become a change maker!
